GREETINGS FROM CHAPTER PRESIDENTS!

The local GKCMAOHN completed another great year. We offered 6 CEU classes, each offering 2 CEU’s. Vendors also hosted two great dinner meetings with energetic speakers. The May 2010 dinner meeting was held at The Webster House with the topic on “Questions and Answer Session on Flu Shots and other Pharmaceuticals” sponsored by Genetech.

Our September 2009 dinner meeting was held at Ruth Crist sponsored by Novo Nordisc with the topic on Diabetes Update We are most grateful for our sponsors. We also co-sponsored the Carroll P. Hungate seminar in conjunction with the Great Plains College of Occupational & Environmental Medicine.

Our local chapter has a great newsletter called the “Informer” which keeps us abreast of what’s going on for our chapter. We also provide a service for our members to be informed of job opportunities through the “Informer” and e-mail. Companies may sponsor us and are able to advertise through the Informer. We currently have 52 members. I am proud of our group here in Kansas City.
